With its industrial hydraulic tools, Mennens offers a controlled solution for virtually any (lifting) application. Think of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, hoses, jacks, lifting and shipping wedges and components.
Inspection, (re)certification and repair
Periodic inspection and maintenance are necessary to ensure safety. Mennens is authorized to inspect, maintain and repair hydraulic tools according to the EKH guideline. Inspection takes place on site or at one of the Mennens Premium Service Centers in Groningen, Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Dongen.
Specialized test units, dynamic testing
In professional test units, we simulate the operating situation so that we can quickly detect hidden defects. During the so-called "dynamic test," we test the entire hydraulic system with an overload over the full stroke of the cylinder. This lets us detect hidden defects earlier. We test jacks using a force-locked frame with integrated calibrated measuring equipment.
The power of high-pressure hydraulics
High-pressure hydraulics are used for lifting bridges and overpasses, for example, or for installing offshore wind turbine foundations and repairing derailed trains. The forces of high-pressure hydraulic tools are unprecedented. For example, with a 2.6-kg hydraulic cylinder, you can quickly lift a 20,000-kg load. Or easily move a 500,000 kg load horizontally.
