The occupational health and safety strategy states that, after the source approach, the primary focus should always be the application of collective measures to eliminate the danger. The use of a fence along a roof edge or skylight is a good example of this. By installing a fence, danger is removed for anyone on site, in contrast to personal measures (such as a line system or anchor post), no manual or training should have been followed to make use of this facility. With fencing, everyone has safe access to site.
We place fences both permanently mounted to the surface and loosely mounted by means of counterweights. Various types of these fences are available in accordance with NEN-EN 14122-3 or NEN-EN 13374. There is a choice between galvanized steel or aluminium fencing.
