For years, Mennens has supplied steel wire ropes, and everything related to them. From advice and assembly to testing and inspection. Veteran and steel wire rope expert Frits van Boetzelaer, together with product specialist Ayrton Dekker and chief engineering Kevin Poot, talk about the multifaceted and fascinating world of steel wire rope.

Mennens has been building its own cranes since the 1990s. A lot has changed since then - organizationally and in the crane business itself. MARTIN BLEIKSLOOT
Long retired and still active within Mennens - for more than 60 years

On September 17, 1962, Martin Bleiksloot started at Mennens as a rigger. Although he has been retired for several years, he still works two days a week in the warehouse and shipping department at Mennens in Rotterdam. He recounts.
